After performing research on health issues for various members of my family, I discovered that I enjoyed it. I also realized that I truly got excited about coaching basketball when my kids were little, and I am just as excited about teaching dance. When I put two and two together, my next career path looked obvious: be a health coach! This page is where I'm showing where this decision leads me!

At Healing Institutions, we believe in the transformative power of metabolic health for the foundation of a healthier society. Our mission is to champion the integration of nutritional and metabolic medicine into institutions that house the most vulnerable of our populations: the prison system. We are dedicated to reshaping the conventional paradigms of care, recognizing that physical and mental wellness is deeply intertwined with physical nourishment and movement. By advocating for evidence-based metabolic interventions, we strive to illuminate pathways to healing that can revitalize individuals, restore dignity, and rebuild the cornerstones of community health.

We work tirelessly to educate, collaborate, and innovate, ensuring that every policy we influence is imbued with an understanding of the critical link between what people consume and they think, feel, and behave. Our vision in a future where institutions do not merely manage symptoms but nurture the root of well-being through comprehensive and compassionate approaches to nutrition and physical and mental health.

Healing Institutions will stand as a beacon of hope and progress, embodying the conviction that when we heal our institutions, we heal our people, which then heals communities. Join us on this journey of transformation, where every meal, every policy, and every initiative is a step towards a collective wellness that transcends the walls of any single institution.

We are looking for volunteers! Thank you!

I have been teaching Basic Belly Dance at the Community College of Baltimore County and my class will start up again this summer. Additionally, I am teaching Poi Dancing, and Easy Dance: Fun Fitness for the Novice Mover. When the classes are published, I will add the details here.

I have just graduated and am working on my last certification now. So now, I am looking for a job, which can be full or part time, in-person or online. As a health coach, I would like to work with doctors or psychologists to help their patients create better lifestyle habits that would improve their mental and physical health.

I am also interning on the website ExRx.net, writing and organizing data.
